Transform 285/400: Weekly Lane Closure Advisory

WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation contractors will implement lane closures for punch list activities. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds, and detours in some areas.

*NOTES: Work schedule updates can be made daily. Check project web page often for the latest updates. Detour information is shown using redtext.

Closures marked with ** - Only one of these closures will be implemented.
WHEN/WHERE: Traffic Impacts on I-285 and SR 400 from July 7, 2025, through July 13, 2025

Overnight Closures:

Monday, July 7, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Closures and Detours:

SR 400 southbound to Glenridge Connector (Detour Map)
  • Motorists traveling on SR 400 southbound to Glenridge Connector should use Exit 2 Lenox Road and SR 400 northbound to access Exit 3 Glenridge Connector.
Tuesday, July 8, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One, left lane on SR 400 northbound from I-285 to Hammond Drive.
Closures and Detours:

SR 400 southbound to Glenridge Connector (Detour Map)
  • Motorists traveling on SR 400 southbound to Glenridge Connector should use Exit 2 Lenox Road and SR 400 northbound to access Exit 3 Glenridge Connector.
Wednesday, July 9, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One, left lane on SR 400 northbound from I-285 to Hammond Drive.
  • One, left lane on SR 400 southbound from Abernathy Road to Hammond Drive.
Thursday, July 10, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

SR 400 northbound CD lanes to Abernathy Road (Detour Map)
  • Motorists traveling on SR 400 northbound CD lanes to Abernathy Road should use Northridge Road and SR 400 southbound to access Abernathy Road.
Friday, July 11, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • One, right lane on SR 400 southbound from Northland Drive to Windsor Parkway
Daytime Closures:

Saturday, July 12, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • One, right lane on Roswell Road northbound and southbound at I-285
Closures and Detours:

**I-285 eastbound to Roswell Road (Detour Map)
  • Motorists traveling on I-285 Roswell Road should use Exit 26 Glenridge Drive and Glenridge Drive to access Roswell Road.
  • Alternate Route: Motorists traveling on I-285 eastbound to Roswell Road should use Exit 26 Glenridge Drive and Hammond Drive to access Roswell Road.
Roswell Road to I-285 eastbound (Detour Map)
  • Motorists traveling on Roswell Road to I-285 eastbound should use I-285 westbound and Exit 24 Riverside Drive to access I-285 eastbound.
