Gov. Reynolds orders all flags at half-staff for Patriots Day

Today, Governor Kim Reynolds ordered all flags at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in honor of Patriots Day and in memory of those who lost their lives in the September 11th terrorist attacks. This year marks the 24th memorial of 9/11.
"Twenty-four years ago, nearly 3,000 innocent Americans and brave first responders lost their lives to the unspeakably evil terrorist attacks against our great nation on September 11," Gov. Kim Reynolds said. "On Patriots Day, we honor them and their families and reaffirm our pledge that we will never forget."
Flags will be at half-staff on the State Capitol Building and on flag displays in the Capitol Complex. Flags will also be at half-staff on all public buildings, grounds, and facilities throughout the state.
Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties, and other government subdivisions are encouraged to fly the flag at half-staff for the same length of time as a sign of respect.
