Palm Desert Civic Center Park will be blooming with activity and inspiration on Saturday, March 7, as the Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival brings together vendors, organizations, and visitors for a day of browsing, learning, and outdoor enjoyment. Running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event provides an easygoing way to explore local resources, discover creative work, and enjoy some relaxing time with family and friends.
Hosted by Friends of the Desert Mountains and sponsored by the City of Palm Desert, the Wildflower Festival has become a popular fixture on the local events calendar. Attendees can explore a wide range of vendor booths featuring environmental organizations, nonprofits, and local groups sharing information about conservation and recreation. Art vendors will also be on site, offering handmade and locally inspired pieces.
Planting and horticulture presentations throughout the day provide practical insights into desert-friendly landscaping and sustainable gardening practices suited to our desert environment. These sessions are designed to be informative and accessible, even if you don't naturally have a green thumb.
Food vendors and refreshments will be available, making it easy to spend a few hours or settle in for the day. With activities spread throughout the park, the festival brings a welcome change of pace for visitors of all ages and interests.
Set among the park's open green spaces, the Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival creates an inviting setting to visit with local organizations, browse art and exhibits, and enjoy the outdoors.
