Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04)announced the launch of the 2026 Valentines for Veterans Program to create and distribute Valentine's Day cards to veterans in Virginia's Fourth Congressional District.
Residents of Virginia's Fourth District are encouraged to send Valentine's Day cards by mail or in person to Congresswoman McClellan's Richmond or Brunswick District Officesno later than February 9, 2026. Residents unable to send their cards to either office may coordinate a pick-up by calling the Richmond District Office at (804) 486-1840. Around Valentine's Day, Congresswoman McClellan and her staff will hand-deliver the cards to veteran-serving organizations across the Fourth District.
"Virginia has one of the nation's largest communities of active-duty service members, and Virginia's Fourth is proud to be home to many of them," said Congresswoman McClellan."Each year, friends, neighbors and members of our community come together to recognize the service and sacrifice of our servicemembers and veterans in a simple but meaningful way. I'm excited to launch the 2026 Valentines for Veterans Program so that those who have served know that they are appreciated in the communities they helped to protect and defend. This year, please consider sharing a personal note of appreciation and sending a Valentine's Day card to a veteran."
