On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the President signed into law:
H.J.Res. 142, which nullifies legislation enacted by the Council of the District of Columbia (D.C.) on December 20, 2025, titled D.C. Income and Franchise Tax Conformity Revision Temporary Amendment Act of 2025; and
S. 3705, the "Semiquincentennial Congressional Time Capsule Act," which requires the Architect of the Capitol to create a congressional time capsule in commemoration of the Semiquencentennial of the United States.
