The City of Cedar Falls invites the community to get involved by becoming a volunteer during Cedar Falls RAGBRAI, presented by SciPlay!
As a designated overnight town, RAGBRAI will stop in Cedar Falls on Thursday, July 24. During this exciting event, thousands of visitors and cyclists will be in the area. Volunteers will be needed to place signage, greet and direct cyclists, assist at shuttle stops, direct parking of RVs and large vehicles, help at road closures, and clean up trash and litter.
Groups including businesses and nonprofit organizations, as well as individuals, are all encouraged to learn more about volunteering and sign up at www.cedarfallsragbrai.org/volunteers by July 16. On the website, you can view open volunteer shifts, tasks, and details.
"We couldn't bring amazing events like RAGBRAI to our community without our incredible supportive citizens and local organizations," said Jennifer Pickar, Cedar Falls Tourism and Cultural Programs Manager. "Volunteering brings our city together and is an opportunity to make lasting friendships and showcase civic pride. Thank you to our volunteer sponsor, Talk to Me Technologies, and we welcome everyone to get involved and help make this event a success!"
