Brett Young shared stunning photos from his wedding day as he celebrated his 8th anniversary with wife Taylor Mills Young on Tuesday (November 3).
The country star and his wife said "I do" on November 3 2018. They had a stunning wedding that included more than 200 guests in Palm Desert, California. The larger ceremony followed the couple's legal marriage on August 10 of that year. Mills Young revealed in an Instagram post in September 2019 that she and her husband "decided not to tell anyone we were married before our wedding day (because) we didn't want to take away from our wedding ceremony in November." They made it official at Rhinestone Wedding Chapel in Nashville, Tennessee, ahead of the wedding with their family and friends. Young wrote in his Instagram caption as he celebrated eight years of marriage:
"That feels crazy to say because the happiest day of my life feels like just yesterday, BUT somehow at the same time I don't remember a single minute of my life that didn't revolve around you. This month will also mark 18 years since our first date and the same applies. I can still hear you insisting that you were 'buying us a shot of Patron,' BUT at the same timeā¦..I can't recall a second of my life when my heart didn't know you and belong to you. Thank you for these years. Thank you for this family. Thank you for this life. Thank you for loving me. The girls and I are so lucky to have you and to be loved and cared for by the most incredible wife and mother God ever saw fit to create and bless this planet with. I love you forever and ever, Pretty Girl. Happy Anniversary!"Since tying the knot, Young and Mills Young and welcomed two daughters. The eldest, Presley Elizabeth, was born in October 2019. Rowan Marie followed in July 2021. The "In Case You Didn't Know" artist previously said in a statement, "I had such a good relationship with my dad - the father/son thing, the sports thing - I always thought that I wanted boys. And I immediately changed my mind when we had Presley. And then there was a lot of conversation about, we'll just keep going until we at least have one of each.
"But when we had Rowan, it was just confirmation that I was supposed to be a girl dad. I'm in love with it," he said. "I don't feel the need to have a son anymore. I just love the way my relationship is with both of my daughters. It's different. I mean, it changes you a little bit, but in a lot of good ways. I think I love differently and more deeply than I ever did before, and not just with them, but it opened my capacity to love that way in general with everybody in my life."
