Linda Greenwood and UCON to Present Songwriting Workshop During Residency

Creative Greensboro, Linda Greenwood, and Unwind Communications Outreach Network (UCON) present, "The Harmony in Creation Songwriting Workshop" September 7 through October 4 at the Stephen D. Hyers Theatre inside the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St. This community-centered songwriting residency makes the creative process accessible, interactive, and inspiring. It provides a welcoming space where participants from all backgrounds, whether experienced musicians or complete beginners, explore music-making through guided, collaborative sessions that culminate in a series of public performances.

Workshops are hands-on creative labs where attendees engage in an interactive songwriting experience. Participants will observe, contribute, and participate in the creation of an original song.

The residency concludes with a public sharing session, where the community can experience the residency's outcome through a live performance and discussion of the workshop-created songs at 2 pm on Saturday, October 3, at the Cultural Center.
