WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, June 25, 2026 - INGAA &The INGAA Foundation are pleased to announce the addition of Kory McDonald as Director of Research and Project Management.
Kory brings 14 years of experience in natural gas pipeline and energy infrastructure to INGAA &The INGAA Foundation, with a strong background in engineering, pipeline integrity, and regulatory compliance. He joins INGAA &The INGAA Foundation from Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), where he served as Engineering Project Manager and oversaw a portfolio of 15-20 pipeline and energy infrastructure projects. In that role, he managed cross-functional project delivery across engineering, operations, and external stakeholders, overseeing budgets, schedules, and pipeline integrity analysis.

"His hands-on experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs across the natural gas sector gives him a perspective that will directly strengthen our technical work and research initiatives."
Prior to his role at SoCalGas, Kory served as Project Manager at Campos EPC, where he managed a portfolio of pipeline integrity, rehabilitation, and field validation. He also held project controls manager and project engineering roles at Chevron, supporting a $50MM annual maintenance and capital program. Earlier in his career, Kory gained field engineering experience at Allied Horizontal Wireline Services and Schlumberger.

Kory holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
