Trail Advisory: Arroyo de los Chamisos Urban Trail

Please be advised that a sinkhole caused by a failed culvert has been identified on the Arroyo de los Chamisos urban trail behind 3321 Camino Cielo Vista, on the south side of the trail.

While the visible opening is approximately 5 feet across, the underlying failure extends roughly 10 feet by 10 feet and is about 6 feet deep. City staff are actively developing plans for culvert and trail repairs.

For public safety, trail users are encouraged to avoid the affected area until repairs are completed. Updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
