Andrew Nunn and Rula Deeb Honored at International CleanUp Conference

Andrew Nunn and Rula Deeb, PhD, BCEEM, PMP, were both honored with the crcCare Fellowship Award at the International CleanUp Conference Gala on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in Adelaide, Australia.

This recognition, given by the Cooperative Research Centre for Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment (crcCARE), celebrates individuals and their outstanding contributions to environmental contamination science, remediation innovation, and sustainability.

Andrew is a VIC EPA and WA DER Accredited Site Auditor based in Australia with more than 30 years of experience in the assessment, remediation, and management of contaminated sites, and environmental auditing. As a recognized leader in Australia's environmental field, he specializes in providing clients with strategic environmental advice relating to soil and groundwater assessment and remediation.

Rula is a Senior Principal based in California with more than 25 years of experience focused on private practice and academia addressing the cross-media fate and transport of contaminants and the remediation of complex soil and groundwater sites impacted by nonaqueous-phase liquids and emerging contaminants. Rula is Geosyntec's Vice President of Practice Development.

The crcCARE is an independent organization that performs research, develops technologies, and provides policy guidance for assessing, cleaning up, and preventing contamination of soil, water, and air.
