Chicago Department Of Aviation To Explore Sponsorship Opportunities At O’Hare And Midway

The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) today announced a Request for Information (RFI) inviting qualified firms, agencies, and industry stakeholders to share ideas, market insights, and expressions of interest regarding the potential development of sponsorship opportunities at O'Hare and Midway International Airports.

The RFI is not a solicitation or a request for proposals, and no contract will be awarded as a result of this process. Instead, it is designed to inform CDA's planning and evaluate the feasibility, structure, and potential value of a future sponsorship and naming rights program.

"As a global gateway and trusted partner to Fortune 500 companies and internationally recognized brands, the CDA is committed to thinking commercially and leveraging every opportunity to strengthen airport revenue in ways that support our airline partners and the traveling public," said CDA Commissioner Michael McMurray. "By inviting the industry's best ideas and gauging market interest, we are laying the groundwork for innovative sponsorship and naming opportunities across both existing facilities and major new developments under ORDNext, including The New Concourse D, The New Concourse E, and the O'Hare Global Terminal."

The RFI, available at FlyChicago.com/SponsorshipRFI, invites firms to submit a narrative describing their level of interest in sponsoring a wide range of airport assets at O'Hare and Midway, including parking structures and lots, EV charging stations, elevators, family restrooms, children's play areas, airport shuttle buses and stops, and any additional opportunities firms wish to propose.

Responses must be submitted electronically by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, to [email protected]. Questions regarding the RFI should be submitted to the same email address no later than 10 business days prior to the submission deadline. All responses to questions, along with any addenda, will be posted on the RFI website.
