City of Valdosta Extends Emergency Curfew Until Further Notice in Response to Hurricane Helene

The City of Valdosta has extended the citywide curfew to ensure the safety of residents and support the work of first responders. The curfew will now be in effect from 6 p.m. tonight, Saturday, September 28, until further notice.

This measure is necessary to allow first responders and essential outside mutual aid personnel to clear roads and attend to emergencies without disruption. The City strongly encourages all residents to remain home during these hours to protect both the community and those on the front lines.

The City of Valdosta thanks its residents for their continued cooperation and commitment to public safety.
