Washington, DC - Chris Winfrey, President & CEO of Charter Communications, was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of NCTA - The Internet & Television Association during its annual elections held on June 8, 2026. The Board of Directors combines extensive industry experience with a commitment to advancing connectivity, innovation, and world-class content.
In addition to Winfrey as Chairman, the following officers were elected: Kristin Dolan, CEO of AMC Global Media, as Vice Chair; Steve Croney, CEO, Connectivity & Platforms at Comcast Corporation, as Treasurer; and Mark Greatrex, President, Cox Communications, Inc., as Secretary. Greatrex will also serve as Immediate Past Chairman.
Giuseppe Commisso, Chairman & CEO, Mediacom Communications Corporation, joined the Board to replace Mediacom's EVP of Operations John Pascarelli who retired. Ben Dold, President & COO, Midco, was elected to a three-year term, replacing Midco Chair & CEO Pat McAdaragh who stepped down from the Board. Also stepping down from the Board after many years of service were John Evans, Chairman & CEO of Evans Telecommunications Company, and Dick Sjoberg, President & CEO of Sjoberg's Inc.
Representing the programming members, Paul Buccieri, President & Chairman of A+E Global Media, and Mark Lazarus, CEO of Versant Media, were elected to serve two-year terms as At-Large Programmer Directors.
Associate Director Chuck Treadway, President & CEO of Vistance Networks, was reelected for another a two-year term.
