Meeting of the Minister with the Executive Secretary of UNESCAP

25 May 2026, on the sidelines of the Fourth High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan received Mrs. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues related to cooperation between Tajikistan and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), particularly in the areas of water resources and climate, strengthening the Commission's cooperation with the country's ministries and agencies across various fields, as well as on documents adopted within the framework of the organization's sessions.
