Mayor Walsh Issues 2025 City of Syracuse Annual Report

Mayor Ben Walsh released the City's 2024 Annual Report this week ahead of his 2025 State of the City Address. The report highlights accomplishments across departments and shows how operational departments are continuing to meet project milestones, serve residents, manage resources, and plan for the future.
"We're proud of the work of the past year. It is a testament to the dedication of the public servants in every department in City government," said Mayor Walsh. "Ahead of the State of the City address this year, where we discuss what's to come, it is important not to overlook our progress and investments in the objectives we set."
The report highlights achievements across the mayor's four major objective areas: achieving fiscal sustainability, increasing economic investment and neighborhood stability, providing quality constituent engagement and response, and delivering city services effectively, efficiently, and equitably. Mayor Walsh will deliver his final State of the City Address on January 16 at 5:30 p.m. at Grant Middle School on the city's northside. The address will be live-streamed on WCNY Channel 24 and on the City's YouTube channel at
