The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has opened registration for its 2026 Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference (PISC). Taking place March 9-11 in Fort Worth, Texas, PISC is an event that brings together professionals from across the animal food industry to discuss key topics shaping the industry, make connections and do business.

This year, PISC has moved to a Monday - Wednesday format to bring more value right from the start. The updated schedule gives attendees expanded networking time, more room to connect with industry peers and added opportunities to engage with partners.

"PISC continues to serve as an essential meeting place for hundreds of animal food industry professionals to exchange ideas, address emerging challenges and build valuable connections," said Jessica Morse, AFIA's director of meetings and events. "The conference offers meaningful learning and collaboration opportunities, and we look forward to bringing the industry together in Fort Worth this year."

The engaging education sessions will explore market intelligence across vitamins, amino acids and key ingredient sectors; highlight artificial intelligence's role in improving workflows and provide updates on shipping and supply chain challenges. Speakers will also discuss global market opportunities, evolving consumer trends and economic outlooks for grain and animal protein markets. As part of AFIA's global programs supporting member access into international markets, buyers from Brazil and Vietnam will be in attendance seeking business opportunities with American sellers. In addition to the educational sessions and business exchanges, PISC will feature several options for networking and camaraderie, including attendee favorites like golf, a late-night dessert bar, goat yoga and receptions each night.

Early-bird registration is available until Jan. 16 for $675 for AFIA members and $2,250 for nonmembers. After Jan. 16, the fee will increase to $885 and $2,650, respectively. Through the Buyers to PISC program, AFIA member-company professionals in buying roles who normally would not be able to attend the event, are invited to apply for a conference scholarship.
