Town of Clinton Amendment to Short Term Rentals (Local Law Adoption Town Code Amendment Zoning)

Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Clinton Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendment to Short-Term Rentals (Local Law Adoption - Town Code Amendment - Zoning) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a local law to amend Chapter 250 of the Town of Clinton Town Code (Zoning). The proposed local law is designed to better regulate Short-Term Rentals, Hosted and Non-Hosted. The local law would delete the exisitng regulatory frame work contained in Section 69.1 of the Town Code and replace it with a new Section 69.1. Non-Hosted Short-Term Rentals would become a Nonconforming Use. Attachment 1 - Schedule of Use Regulations to Chapter 250 would also be amended to provide for the regulation of Short-Term Rentals, Hosted and Non-Hosted as Accessory Uses. The project is located townwide in the Town of Clinton, New York.
