Tonight: Duke Street Land Use Plan Community Meeting and Youth Project Showcase

Tonight, please join us for our upcoming Student Work Showcase and Community Meeting #6 for the Duke Street Land Use Plan Tonight, May 28, 2026 at Patrick Henry. Student Work Showcase from 6:30-7:15 PM, Community Meeting from 7:15-8:30 PM.

Meeting Schedule

  • 6:30-7:15: Students from several classes at Alexandria City High School will be sharing projects that they worked on through the planning process. Food and refreshments will be served and community members are encouraged to attend to engage with students around their work.
  • 7:15 - 8:30: Transition to our regularly scheduled meeting, which will include a presentation focusing on Housing and Health elements of the upcoming draft Plan with a Q&A afterwards. As always, the presentation and Q&A will also be available online via Zoom (access information below).

Language interpretation in Spanish, Amharic, Dari, and Pashto will be available for both the Student Showcase and the Community Meeting.
