A teenager is dead after an early morning shooting in Tempedetail
Tempe, AZ - The Tempe Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a seventeen-year-old male.
On 07/25/2025 at about 1:50 AM, Tempe Police Officers responded to the area of E. Playa Del Norte Drive and the Loop 202. Officers located a seventeen-year-old male with gunshot wounds.
Officers attempted lifesaving efforts on the male and Tempe Fire and Medical Rescue responded to the scene. The male was pronounced dead.
We are actively investigating this case. At this time, no suspects have been identified. We are asking for anyone who has additional information about this case to please contact us on 480 350-8311.
