Five years after shaking the music scene with her explosive major-label debut "Usseewa," Ado -now just 22 years old-is thrilled to release a new song entitled "The Story of the Wind and I" (original Japanese title: 風と私の物語 ) out now worldwide!

The song is the theme song for the Japanese film The Silent Service: The Great Sea Battle of the Arctic Ocean , which is the live-action adaptation project based on Kaiji Kawaguchi's political-military manga The Silent Service and the sequel to the first theatrical film released in 2023. The film hits theaters in Japan on Sep. 26th.

"The Story of the Wind and I" came to life through an unconventional collaboration no one could have imagined - lyrics and composition by Hiroji Miyamoto (known as the vocalist of the Japanese rock band Elephant Kashimashi), arrangements by singer-songwriter Mafumafu, with Ado's powerful yet emotional vocals breathing life into it.

Accompanying music video is also out now.

This music video tells the story of a girl carrying a bag full of letters as she travels the world's oceans aboard a ship. The girl illustrated by artist Sakutaro Nakatsuji, who also contributed the cover of this single, appears, and her voyage begins. In her hands are important letters addressed to people around the world. Crossing the blue ocean, she delivers each letter one by one to post offices in port towns. It unfolds as a heartwarming voyage story, connecting with people worldwide through these letters.

Ado just concluded her 2nd world tour Ado WORLD TOUR 2025 "Hibana" Powered by Crunchyroll visit the total of 33 cities around the word with audience of over 500,000 which makes it the largest scale world tour ever by a Japanese artist. The tour kicked off in Ado's homeland Japan at Saitama Super Arena on April 26th. After her triumphal return, Ado has a dome tour in November and the tickets are currently available so make sure to secure them while you can!

A 22-year-old Utaite, Ado, became a mainstream name through her 2020 major label debut "Usseewa," which sparked a social phenomenon. Ado's first album "Kyougen" and the songtrack album "UTA'S SONGS ONE PIECE FILM RED," featuring all seven songs she sang for the movie "ONE PIECE FILM RED," have both dominated the charts and become long-lasting hits. She started her first world tour, Ado FIRST WORLD TOUR "Wish" in February 2024, and in April 2024, and she performed a two-day live concert, Ado SPECIAL LIVE 2024 "Shinzou," making her the first female solo artist to ever hold a show at the Japan National Stadium.

Starting from July 2024, she held her biggest yet nationwide arena tour, "Ado JAPAN TOUR 2024 'Profile of Mona Lisa,'" and her highly anticipated 2nd original album "Zanmu" was also released in the same month. On October 24th, she released her first CD single "Sakura Biyori and Time Machine (with Hatsune Miku)/Shoka".

Ado just concluded her second world tour, "Ado WORLD TOUR 2025 'Hibana' Powered by Crunchyroll" selling out arenas around the world including the O2 in London, Crypto.com Arena in LA and Prudential Center in Newark.
