The Office of Community Engagement and Strategic Partnerships is hosting the 2024-25 Employee Charitable Giving Campaign Kickoff on Thursday, Nov. 14, to launch Toledo's annual "Employee Charitable Giving Campaign: UToledo Cares."

The campaign kickoff event begins at 9 a.m. at the newly renovated Delta Marriot Hotel Faculty Club Room on Health Science Campus. If attending, please RSVP to [email protected].

The Employee Charitable Giving Campaign benefits the work of three great federations representing more than 300 agencies and programs: CHC: Creating Healthier Communities, EarthShare Ohio and United Way of Greater Toledo.

The chair of this year's campaign is Dr. Valerie Simmons-Walston, special advisor to the provost for community engagement. The co-chair is Jean Drees, community liaison in the Department of Neurosciences and Psychiatry.

All faculty, staff and retirees are encouraged to participate in UToledo Cares 2024-25 with their "Power to Give" and support our Toledo communities.
