AUC Chairperson received H.E. Dr. Varsen Aghbekian Shahin, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, today received H.E. Dr. Varsen Aghbekian Shahin, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine.
The Chairperson reaffirmed the African Union's unwavering commitment to the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the pursuit of a two-state solution as the most viable path for a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace.

Their discussions also underscored the Gaza Ceasefire Agreement as an important step toward halting the ongoing devastation and alleviating the suffering of civilians.
