MEMA ALERT: Informational Update - Moloka'i Brushfire
INFORMATIONAL: Update - Molokaʻi Brushfire
WHAT: Maui Fire Department continuing to battle the brushfire
WHERE: Near Molokaʻi Airport around Naiwa Street
WHEN: Reported to 9-1-1 Dispatch at 10:30 am
IMPACTS: Maui Fire Department crews have made progress with the fire which poses no active threats at this time. There are NO mandatory evacuations and all roads are open.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions:
Although there are no active threats at this time, the public should stay vigilante as fire conditions are subject to change. Avoid the area if possible. Monitor radio, TV, and mobile devices for official information.
