Purvodaya Perspective 2025 (December 13 - 14, 2025)

The 3rd edition of Purvodaya Perspectives International Conference was organised by the Ministry from 13-14 December 2025 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in collaboration with The Energy Forum.

2. Hon'ble Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and Hon'ble Governor of Odisha Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati inaugurated the third edition of the Conference on 13 December 2025 in Bhubaneswar.

3. The theme of the 3rd edition was "Connecting India's Eastern Borders and South East Asia through Economic Corridors". The discussions focused on the role and potential of India's Eastern region in strengthening connectivity with South East Asia, the Indo-Pacific and the Indian Ocean Region.

4. Spanning across 4 thematic sessions and 2 keynote addresses, the discussions explored how India's eastern states can play a pivotal role in the evolving supply chains of the Indo-Pacific, and transform from a transit zone into a strategic hub for logistics and trade through port modernisation, trade corridors, integration of frontier technologies in shipping as well as integration with multilateral frameworks like BIMSTEC and IORA.
