Amador County

State Routes 49, 88 & 124

Amador County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-88 and SR-124 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 49

• Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through Friday, January 31, 2025.

State Route 88

• One-way traffic control from Court Street to Dalton Road for tree work beginning Wednesday, November 13, 2024, through Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Raven Road to Carson Drive for drainage work beginning Wednesday, November 13, 2024, through Friday, November 15, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

State Route 124

• One-way traffic control from SR-88 to SR-104 for utility work beginning Wednesday, November 13, 2024, through Friday, November 15, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
