Mayor Freddie O'Connell to receive flu shot at Metro Public Health Department ahead of Fight Flu Day
Mayor Freddie O'Connell will receive his flu shot at the Lentz Public Health Center on Monday, October 20. Nurses from the Metro Public Health Department (MPHD) will administer flu shots to Mayor O'Connell and MPHD Director of Health Doctor Sanmi Areola ahead of the Tuesday, October 21 Fight Flu Day event. Mayor O'Connell and Doctor Areola will offer remarks before receiving their flu vaccines at 11:30 a.m.
Media parking is available in the parking lot in front of the Metro Public Health Department. Media are asked to avoid parking in the circular drive-thru in front of the main doors.
