Project Announcement: Follow-up Evaluation of Longstanding Healthcare-Related Recommendations (Project No. D2025-DEV0HD-0101.000)

Evaluation

The purpose of this memorandum is to notify you that we plan to begin the subject
follow-up evaluation in April 2025.

The objective of this follow-up evaluation is to assess the extent to which the DoD has
taken actions to implement longstanding healthcare-related recommendations issued by the DoD
Office of Inspector General. The focus of this follow-up evaluation is recommendations
previously issued in reports published at least 3 years ago; however, more recent
recommendations could also be included. We may revise the objective as the follow-up
evaluation proceeds, and we will also consider suggestions from management for additional or
revised objectives. We plan to perform this follow-up evaluation in accordance with the Council
of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, "Quality Standards for Inspection and
Evaluation."
