Fall 2025 request for Excel Bootcamp

Fall 2025 request for Excel Bootcamp

The Learning Center Monday May 5, 2025

The Learning Center is delighted to continue offering Excel Bootcamps again for fall semester 2025. Our goal is to provide basic Excel Bootcamp/workshops, outside of your class time, for students who lack a good introduction to the Excel software. Please share this broadly with your faculty and staff who might be interested in this free academic support resource.

Many instructors, across disciplines, have expressed a need for this content and exposure to the platform. Please see the attached documents for more information.

Any class is welcome to request the bootcamp, and especially those who will have Excel-based assignments in the semester, or instructors who would like their students to learn Excel basics.

This past year we had over 1,000 unique student participants and we are preparing for additional classes and students to join in this upcoming year.

Now is the time for faculty to sign up for Spring 2025, please fill out this quick form by Friday, May 9: https://forms.office.com/r/H32g9LbYgp.

We ask that instructors create an 'assignment' in D2L for the students to upload their Certificate of Completion. Students can receive their Certificate by either testing-out or completing the Bootcamp with 80% proficiency with the final assessment.

Once we review the requests, we will send updated details and confirmations for participation. All sessions will be held in the Math Lab (1st floor Library).
