Never forget 9.11.01

Twenty-four years ago, terror struck our nation in an attempt to destroy democracy, freedom, and the greatest nation the world has ever known. On September 11, 2001, we lost 2,977 innocent lives, our country was changed forever, but we stood together united as Americans.

We will never forget. For nearly a quarter of a century, Americans continue to prove that our unbreakable spirit will not falter. We continue to honor the memory of those taken that day and the families who still carry the weight of those losses.

Our country is the beacon of liberty and hope for the world. Even in the face of evil, America stands firm and united-and every trial since that day has only strengthened us.

As we reflect on 9/11 this year, may we also reflect on the resolve that carried our nation forward. We must never forget what makes America the greatest nation in the world, or the sacrifices required to keep our freedom.
