Carl Barron Achievement Awards
The Cambridge Department of Public Works honored three DPW employees with the Ruth and Carl F. Barron Family Achievement Award on March 11, 2026.
The Ruth and Carl F. Barron Family Achievement Award, established in 1992, is presented in recognition of outstanding productivity, distinguished performance and service to the City of Cambridge and Department of Public Works. Mr. Barron, a fixture in Cambridge, was an enthusiastic supporter of the City of Cambridge and the Department of Public Works.
The recipients honored with this Award at the ceremony were: Tom Mbuyi, Solid Waste Division; Linda Spencer, Planning & Administration Division; and Cambria Ung, Engineering Division.
