Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Symposium

The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences and UToledo Health, in collaboration with the Office of Continuing Medical Education, hosted the AI in Healthcare Symposium on Friday, Nov. 7, on Health Science Campus.
UToledo and UToledo Health experts explored current and future applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare in presentations scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. including Dr. Bina Joe, a Distinguished University Professor and chair of the UToledo Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, who presented on Leveraging AI/Machine Learning to Access Microbiomes as Risk Factors for Disease.

The AI in Healthcare Symposium concluded on-campus programming for Great Lakes AI Week, which brought together academic researchers, business leaders, policy makers and more for educational programming staged in Toledo and northwest Ohio.
Great Lakes AI Week was organized by the Enterprise Technology Association.
