We've dropped the 1% fee, which means Breww Trade Store is now completely free for breweries to use, with no monthly fee, transaction fee or limits on orders and customers.
And while we were getting rid of the fee, we gave Trade Store a pretty big glow-up too. It's more modern, much more customisable and easier to get up and running, with a new dashboard and plenty of new tools to make life easier for breweries and their trade customers.
Your customers are there to buy from your brewery, so we've given you much more control over how your Trade Store looks and feels.
You can customise colours, fonts, imagery and wording, organise products into the categories your customers actually shop by and customise the emails your store sends. If you run more than one brand or business, you can also create separate storefronts, each with its own branding, products, customers and rules.
There's a new dashboard too, bringing useful Trade Store information together in one place and giving the whole experience a cleaner, more modern feel.
We've made it much easier to get a Trade Store up and running, with guided setup and a readiness checklist to help you through the process.
If you're already selling online, Trade Store can automatically pull across product photos and descriptions you already hold on your other online sales channels. You can also filter your existing customer list, invite customers in bulk and automatically chase anyone who hasn't accepted yet.
And if you're out at a festival, event or in the taproom, you can print a QR code poster to give prospective trade customers an easy way to get started.
Not every new trade customer needs to use your Trade Store, but you still need to collect the right information from them.
You can now create customisable new customer forms and send them directly to prospective accounts, giving you a more consistent way to collect what you need. If you want to bring them onto your Trade Store afterwards, great. If you just want to avoid another email chain asking for missing details, that's fine too.
There are some useful new tools on the customer side as well. If a buyer is close to reaching their next volume discount, their basket can tell them exactly how much more they need to add to reach the next price break.
So rather than someone from your sales team needing to make the call, the bigger order becomes the customer's idea.
Customers can also choose collection as well as delivery where you've enabled it, selecting a date that works around your cut-offs and working days. The collection is then scheduled automatically in Breww.
The bits that already made Trade Store useful haven't gone anywhere.
Your trade customers still get their own private, branded place to order, where they see the products, pricing and terms relevant to them. There's no public marketplace and no competitor products sitting alongside yours.
More importantly, because Trade Store is part of Breww, orders land straight into the same system your team already uses to manage the brewery.
That means less copying orders from emails, fewer bits of information living in different places and less reliance on one person remembering exactly how a particular customer normally orders. That might work most of the time, but it quickly becomes a problem when that person is on holiday, sick or simply unavailable.
Keeping everything connected means the information your team needs is there when they need it, rather than living in someone's inbox or head.
Existing Breww customers using Trade Store automatically get the new experience, and we no longer take 1% of their Trade Store sales.
If the fee, setup or previous experience put you off before, we'd say it's well worth another look.
