PAM Health Commits $5 Million to Lebanon Valley College Nursing Program

The gift will name the nursing program the PAM Health School of Nursing at Lebanon Valley College.

Dr. James M. MacLaren, LVC President, announced that national healthcare leader PAM Health, which operates medical rehabilitation hospitals, long-term acute care hospitals, behavioral health hospitals, wound care clinics and outpatient physical therapy locations across the United States, has committed $5 million to name the nursing program the PAM Health School of Nursing at Lebanon Valley College. This commitment is the fourth in the College's history to exceed $5 million.

The PAM Health School of Nursing at Lebanon Valley College includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, which was launched in Fall 2022. A new 36,000-square-foot facility opened a year later and was honored with a 2025 Outstanding Project Awardby Learning by Design in May. Dr. Terri Worthey,Interim Chair of Nursing, leads the program, which is scheduled to graduate its first class of nurses in May 2026, a date which nearly coincides with the anticipated summer opening of PAM Health's closest location, PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Hampden, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital located near the company's corporate headquarters in Enola, Pennsylvania.

"Lebanon Valley College is deeply grateful to PAM Health for this extraordinary commitment to our nursing program," said MacLaren. "At a time when our region urgently needs highly trained and compassionate nurses, this gift supports students who are eager to meet that demand. PAM Health and Lebanon Valley College share a commitment to helping individuals and communities live happy and healthy lives."

"At PAM Health, Lifelong Learning is one of our core values," said Anthony Misitano, PAM Health Founder, Chairman, and CEO. "Through this collaboration with LVC, we are living out that value by supporting the education of future nurses, many of whom we hope consider joining our team in the future."

PAM Health has a strong connection with LVC's health professions programs through Karick Stober, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PAM Health. Stober, LVC Class of 1997, is a member of the College's Board of Trustees.
