JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - As part of the interchange improvements at U.S. Route 63 and Boone County Route AC (Grindstone Parkway), the new alignment of Lenoir Street is now open. Lenoir Street's connection with New Haven Road has been moved slightly east and it now lines up with the eastern circle drive entrance to New Haven elementary. On the southern end, the contractor completed tying the new alignment into the roadway just north of the northernmost entrance to Lenoir Woods.
Lenoir Street was shifted to allow for the construction of a new off-ramp for northbound U.S. Route 63 traffic exiting to Grindstone Parkway. Construction of that off-ramp is continuing, with no impacts to motorists at this time.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
