Annual City Paving Projects Continue May 4-8

Sections of streets will undergo various stages of resurfacing that will affect traffic flow in those areas. Specific streets affected, and for what work, are listed below. These jobs are part of the City's 2026 road paving projects and publicized weekly.

Projects happening from May 4-8

The following will involve alternate lanes or full road closures from 7 am to 6 pm.

  • Avery Pl. from Pembroke Rd. to Fairway Dr. - Paving

  • Fairway Dr. from Benjamin Parkway to Pembroke Rd. - Paving

  • Pinecrest Rd. from Ridgeway Dr. to W. Greenway Dr. N. - Paving

  • Ridgeway Dr. from W. Friendly Ave. to W. Market St. - Paving

  • Scott Ave. from Camden Rd. to the end - Paving

  • Wright Ave. from S. Elam Ave. to S. Josephine Boyd St. - Paving

  • All of Fleming Terrace Circle - Milling and raising structures

  • All of Fleming Terrace Rd. - Milling and raising structures

  • Boeing Dr. from Regional Rd. to W. Market St. -Milling

  • Cessna Dr. from Regional Rd. to Gallimore Dairy Rd. - Milling

  • All of Friendship Dr. - Milling

The following will involve alternate lanes or full road closures from 9 am to 4 pm.

  • Benjamin Parkway from W. Wendover Ave. to Westmoreland Dr. - Paving

  • W. Friendly Ave. from Green Valley Rd. to N. Holden Rd. - Paving

  • Westminster Dr. from W. Friendly Ave. to Westridge Rd. - Milling and raising structures

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid work areas, follow detour signs, and adhere to traffic flagger directions.
