Whitehall man charged with felony in larceny of equipment

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Christopher M. Rozell for Grand Larceny 3rd, a Class D Felony, after an investigation into the larceny of an excavator attachment from someone Rozell was familiar with. Rozell was found to have taken the attachment and then sold it to another person.

The attachment was recovered and returned to the owner as part of the investigation.

Rozell was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment and released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Granville Town Court on a later date.
