Sistrunk Boulevard Stormwater Pipe Repair in Durrs and Historic Dorsey Riverbend

The City of Fort Lauderdale and Man-Con, Inc. are replacing a stormwater pipe along Sistrunk Boulevard / NW 6th Street between NW 19th Avenue and NW 18th Avenue in Durrs and Historic Dorsey Riverbend. This project includes:

  • Installing approximately 300 feet of new 24-inch stormwater pipe
  • Restoring the roadway, landscaping, sidewalk and curb as needed

Construction will begin on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, and is expected to be completed in September 2025. Work will take place weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts:

  • One lane in each direction of Sistrunk Boulevard / NW 6th Street between I-95 and NW 17th Avenue will be closed daily during work hours.
  • Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
