Summer Scoops: Ice cream treat provides joyful break at UW-Oshkosh
Faculty, staff and students who are on the UW-Oshkosh campus during summer have reason to look forward to Tuesdays-it's when the tasty ice cream event known as Summer Scoops takes place at Reeve Memorial Union.
Summer Scoops was started to help create a sense of community, with guest scoopers dishing up a variety of sweet treats in bowls or cones.
The event is a collaboration between Reeve Union and UWO Dining. More than 700 people have been served so far this summer.
Special guest scoopers this week (seen in the video) were from the UWO Police Department.
The event runs each Tuesday through Aug. 11.
