Three Casualty Experts Join the PERse Americas Team

OCTOBER 14, 2024 | NEWPORT BEACH, CA - PERse Americas ("PERse") is pleased to add three renewable energy casualty experts to their team. PERse is a managing general underwriter specializing in renewable energy and is a part of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, Ryan Specialty's (NYSE: RYAN) suite of managing general underwriters and national programs which provide access to insurance solutions crafted to meet the needs of specific industries. These professionals join PERse from Ryan Specialty's recent acquisition of Ethos Specialty Insurance's P&C managing general underwriters.

• Tayler Marshall, Vice President - Casualty - Tayler joins PERse with 9 years of insurance experience, having most recently served as Vice President of Clean Tech at Ethos Specialty. Tayler was instrumental in successfully expanding Ethos' Clean Tech casualty program. Tayler has extensive expertise in underwriting captive and program P&C lines and has held excess casualty and products liability underwriting and management roles. Tayler holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Nevada, a Masters in Communication from the University of Denver, and a Master's in Human Resource Development from Xavier University. She has also obtained several insurance designations including her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in General Insurance (AINS), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Underwriting (AU), and a Property Technical Certificate (PTC).
• Adam Bitar, Underwriter - Prior to joining PERse, Adam leveraged his experience as a Technical Underwriter on the Ethos Specialty Clean Tech team, where he researched and documented a broad range of technologies critical to decarbonization and sustainability and offered technical analysis of casualty risks across the team. Adam is also credited with having built Delaware's first solar powered food cart in college. Adam holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and Energy. He has held a diverse set of unique roles within the energy space, having worked in solar development and financing, manufacturing in the nuclear industry, HVAC system design, and Carbon Capture & Sequestration policy work.
• William Gallagher, Associate Underwriter - In his most recent role, Will served as an Associate Underwriter with Ethos Specialty on their Clean Tech program. Will specializes in casualty insurance for a broad range of Clean Tech products. He graduated from Wharton with a B.S. in Economics and joined Ethos Specialty as an M&A Analyst.
