Pragmatic Semiconductor awarded RFID Product Gold Prize at IOTE 2026 Innovation Awards for NFC product portfolio

Pragmatic Semiconductor, a pioneer in flexible and sustainable semiconductor technology, has been awarded the RFID Product Gold Prize at the IOTE 2026 Innovative Product Awards for the Pragmatic NFC product portfolio. Pragmatic's flexible integrated circuit (FlexIC) technology reimagines NFC to deliver cost optimised, low-carbon intelligence at edge and item-level, with ultra-thin, flexible form factor chips that can be seamlessly integrated into products or packaging. The company will exhibit at IOTE Shenzhen 2026, showcasing its FlexIC technology, alongside multiple customer and partner technology and product demonstrations. At the event, Pragmatic is also proud to introduce its new Chinese brand identity, Pragmatic 湃, demonstrating the significance of the market and commitment of the business to serve regional customers.

• NFC Connect PR1301: opens new use cases for scalable consumer engagement, product authentication, traceability and digital product passports, helping brands move from one-off product interactions to continual immersive experiences.

• NFC Protect PR1311: enables tamper detection that combines digital and physical evidence of product opening. The solution helps brands combat counterfeiting, tampering and refilling by allowing consumers, retailers and brands to verify product integrity with a simple tap of a smartphone.
