On February 25, 1948, students from these very schools - Czech Technical University, Charles University, University of Economics, and Czech University of Life Sciences - went to Prague Castle to express their support for freedom and parliamentary democracy in what was then Czechoslovakia. Rector Michal Pěchouček will represent CTU at this year's memorial ceremony.
