Read Announcement View Product PhotosOliva LLC of Bethlehem, CT is recalling approximately 250 units of Riad's Oliva to Go Baba Ghanouj, Spicy Baba Ghanouj, and Hummus, because it may contain undeclared sesame. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled products were distributed to gourmet shops and farm markets in Litchfield County CT and Great Barrington, MA areas.
The recalled products are packaged in clear plastic square containers, with a white and green labeling, and best by stamped on side of label.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.
The recall was initiated after an inspection revealed that sesame was not declared on the product ingredient declaration. Our firm has corrected our labeling since discovering this discrepancy.
Consumers who have purchased Riad's Oliva Baba Ghanouj, Spicy Baba Ghanouj, or Hummus are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 203-266-5558 8 AM to 4 PM Eastern Monday through Friday.
