Linn County Hosting Roundtable Discussion on Potential Cuts to Medicaid and Social Services

Linn County will host a roundtable discussion on June 17 to explore how proposed changes in the federal reconciliation and tax bill, particularly cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, could impact the community. The discussion will raise awareness about the real-world consequences these changes could have on the most vulnerable residents.

This event is open to the public and the public is encouraged to attend and hear from local experts.

Linn County Supervisor Sami Scheetz will moderate the discussion with local panelists. The roundtable is designed as a moderated discussion among the panelists. Attendees will be able to submit written questions at the event.
