Weekly Traffic Impact Report Week of September 19, 2024

La Loma Phase 2C

Project Status

Project is expected to be completed by the end of October 2024.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will be in place:

  • Encina Avenue from Santa Barbara Avenue to San Juan Avenue
  • Roble Avenue from Rowland Avenue to Rosina Avenue
  • Haddon Avenue from Rowland Avenue to North Cornejo Avenue
  • Miller Avenue from Covena Avenue to San Juan Avenue
  • Crews will be working in the alleys from Encina Avenue (North Limit) to Miller Avenue
    (South Limit) from Rowland Avenue (West Limit) to San Juan Avenue (East Limit)

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Claus Road and Scenic Drive Signal Coordination

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of November 2024.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control in place shifting traffic to one lane each way, with flaggers when needed, arrow boards and signs:

  • Claus Road between Briggsmore Avenue and Scenic Drive
  • Scenic Drive from Bodem Drive to Claus Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

J.M. Pike Park Storm Water to Sanitary Sewer Cross Connection and Water Main

Project Status

Expected to be completed by January 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Minor disruptions, crew will be working:

  • Lane Shift on Tully Road between Fordham Avenue & Orangeburg Avenue 9/23 through 9/27
  • Lane Shift on Cecil Way between Tully Road & Mills Avenue 9/23 through 9/27
  • Lane Shift on Del Mar Avenue from Del Rey Avenue to Kearney Avenue 9/23 through 9/26
  • Lane Shift on Del Vista Avenue from Del Vale Avenue to Kearney Avenue 9/26 and 9/27
  • Lane Shift on Del Monte Avenue from Del Vale Avenue to Kearney Avenue 9/25 through 9/27

Major disruptions, crew will be working:

  • Road closure for alley between Del Rey Avenue and Greenwood Drive 9/23 and 9/24

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

State Route 99 Pelandale Interchange Reconstruction Phase 2

Project Status

Expected to be completed by October 2024.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will consist of full lane closures, lane shifts, and flaggers on site.

  • Intersection of Pelandale Avenue and Sisk Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

West Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation

Project Status

Expected to be completed by June 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Detour will be in place at:

  • Dunning Lane between Paradise Road and Regal Road

Minor disruptions, crews will be working:

  • Dunning Lane between Paradise Road and Robertson Road
  • Robertson Road between Dunning Lane and South Carpenter Road
  • South Carpenter Road between Robertson Road and West Hatch Road
  • John Street between Marlow Street and Hays Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

La Loma Sewer Phase 1

Project Status

Expected to be completed by June 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will consist of lane shifts, flaggers, road closures and detours.

  • Burney Street from Scenic Drive to Jennie Street
  • James Street from Kelley Street to G Street

Including the following residential streets:

  • North Morton Boulevard & Rou De Yoe - Moose Park area
  • Walden Street, Lane Street, Loma Vista Way, Brook Way, & State Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.
