AMETEK to Acquire FARO Technologies
Fried Frank acted as counsel to Evercore as financial advisor to FARO Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: FARO) in its $920 million sale to AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE: AME). FARO Technologies is a leading provider of 3D measurement and imaging solutions, including portable measurement arms, laser scanners and trackers, software solutions and comprehensive service offerings. AMETEK is a provider of industrial technology solutions.
