Gilbert, Ariz. - Gilbert's special needs community is invited to join us for our free Public Safety Day on Saturday, March 28, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gilbert Public Safety Training Facility.

This Sensory Awareness Family Event (S.A.F.E.) is designed to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where families can connect with the Gilbert Police Department and Gilbert Fire & Rescue. The goal is to foster understanding and build relationships in a space where everyone feels safe and comfortable engaging with Gilbert's first responders.

What to Expect:

• Ride on a fire truck
• Experience simulated police traffic stops for a hands-on look at law enforcement procedures
• Explore police and fire vehicles and gear up close
