The NEA Legislative Committee invites NEA members to attend the committee's 2025 listening sessions as the 119th Congress begins!
As a member of the Missouri NEA, you also have a team of members and professionals working for you in Washington, D.C. As the U.S. Congress begins its 119th Legislative Session, the NEA Committee will be there on your behalf.

2025 LEGISLATIVE LISTENING SESSIONS
- Find out more about the NEA Legislative Program, NEA's guide for advocacy at the federal level, and how you can add your voice.
- Ask questions and share your legislative priorities.
- Get an update on activity in the U.S. Congress, including our achievements late last year with GPO-WEP and the Social Security Fairness Act, a law repealing two unfair penalties that robbed many NEA members of the Social Security benefits they earned.
- Learn how you can participate in federal advocacy via the NEA EdActionCenter.
