Serial Shoplifting Suspect Arrested Thursday
A prolific shoplifter was arrested Thursday during a traffic stop on Central Pike by Violent Crimes detectives for 24 outstanding warrants dating back to theft cases from last spring, mainly at Bath and Body Works in the Nashville West Shopping Center.
Ongoing investigation by Organized Retail Crime detectives showed Lamonica Ensley, 31, was one of three serial offenders who frequently entered the store to steal merchandise.
Ensley's charges include more than a dozen counts of theft of merchandise, six counts of theft of property, and organized retail crime. She remains jailed today on $224,500 bond.
