New Way to Access Fashion Island Blvd from SB U.S. 101 Coming this Saturday

Starting Saturday morning, August 23, drivers heading south on U.S. 101 will take westbound SR-92 to access Fashion Island Blvd.

San Mateo County ― Caltrans will be implementing a change to the Fashion Island Blvd. off-ramp from southbound U.S. 101. Currently, drivers take eastbound SR-92 to access Fashion Island Blvd., but starting on Saturday morning, August 23, motorists will follow westbound SR-92, in the direction of Half Moon Bay, to access the off-ramp. This new roadway configuration is a permanent change in the San Mateo/Foster City area.

This change is part of the $45M U.S. 101- SR-92 Short-term Improvements Project that is co-sponsored by the San Mateo County Transportation Authority and City/County Association of Governments. The project will bring operational improvements, enhancement to local access, and promotion of economic vitality to the region.
